Our mission is to help families own the
Spiritual Development of the next generation.

We want to see FellowshipKids rooted and growing in the Way, Truth, and Life of Jesus (Colossians 2:6-7; Matthew 11:28-30; John 14:6)! And because we believe Scripture is clear that parents are the primary disciple-makers in the lives of their children (Deuteronomy 6:7), our hope is to partner with parents in their pursuit of this mission, coming alongside you in the discipleship process. We do this by making FellowshipKids a safe and engaging environment where kids can worship through song, hear God’s story from the Bible, and discuss those stories with friends in small groups. Each Sunday we get to help kids, birth-6th grade, see the wonder of God and how each part of His story points us to Jesus.

FIRST TIME TO FELLOWSHIP KIDS?

The elementary check-in station is through the far west entrance of the building. You can pre-register your child here, or register your child on your first visit. Once your child has a name tag and you get their pickup receipt, you will receive an attendance sticker for their small group leader. You will then be able to drop them off in their corresponding small group room. After the service, you’ll need to present your child’s pickup receipt to their small group leader to check your child out.

CURRICULUM

At FellowshipKids Early Childhood we desire for children to start their spiritual journey in a safe and loving environment. We want to partner with parents as they lead their kids into a relationship with Jesus.

We use a curriculum that teaches three basic truths for our preschool kids. They are: God made me, God loves me and Jesus wants to be my friend forever. We do this through a hands-on and active approach to learning as we sing, do crafts, learn sign language and play games that all point back to our story of the week.

You can reinforce the lesson we teach on Sunday by downloading the app Parent Cue. The Parent Cue App is designed to help every parent do something each week to help move their child toward a deeper faith.

FellowshipKids is honored to partner with you from the very beginning of your journey as parents.

CHILD DEDICATION

"I prayed for this child, and the LORD granted me what I asked of Him. So now I give him to the LORD. For his whole life he will be given over to the LORD." 1 Samuel 1:27-28 (NIV)

Child dedication is a special time when you as the parent commit to raising your child to grow up to know, love, and follow Christ. We, your church community, alongside family and friends want to partner with you as your child develops a desire to love God and love others.

If interested in Child dedication, please contact Susan Greathouse.

Elementary Services

Sundays at 8:45 and 10:30am in the far west wing
of the building.

Our elementary services are structured with our Celebration/Cell style of church in mind. The first half of each service your child will experience a large group gathering (Celebration) with live worship and teaching. Then your student will meet in a small group (Cell) with other students their grade and sex and discuss the Bible story from the day with their adult and high school student leaders.

SPECIAL NEEDS & DISABILITY MINISTRY

The Special Needs Ministry exists to provide a Gospel-centered, inclusive environment for individuals with specific needs. We not only want to serve these individuals but also partner with their families as they participate in the life of the church.

We want to help any child or student who faces unique challenges related to physical, mental, behavioral, medical, or emotional needs that would benefit from additional support, helping enable them to hear the Gospel and fully participate in the mission of Fellowship.

In most situations, we use the buddy system where the individual is matched with a high school or adult buddy who will provide individual care in a classroom of peers or in our Special Needs & Disability Ministry area.

SPECIAL NEEDS & DISABILITY FAQS

Yes. We work to best understand each individual’s special needs and how we can best support your family. After talking with our coordinator, we can work to develop a plan that fits your family best. We will send you a form that helps us better understand your individual family’s needs.

Buddies simply act as a helper. They are an extra volunteer who helps when necessary and to the degree necessary. The primary goal of our buddies is to provide an environment where people of all needs can hear the Gospel in a way that is clear to them.

Lauren Weatherly is our Special Needs & Disability Ministry Team Leader. She would love to connect with you to help put together a plan to provide support for your child. Please email [email protected] to find out more information and get the needed forms.

Yes! Our Rogers Campus is a rEcess and bEfriend site, organized by 99Balloons. Visit our Special Needs webpage to learn more!
